The MOP 150 Years Allegorical Sculpture is a large-scale suspended installation commissioned to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Chile’s Ministry of Public Works. Designed by LOW Estudio, the project translates the institution’s historical legacy into a spatial composition of more than 300 suspended elements, forming an immersive three-dimensional landscape. Through computational design, digital fabrication, and structural coordination, the installation explores the relationship between infrastructure, territory, and collective memory, transforming 150 years of public works into a contemporary architectural expression.
