Hug-Me es la representación escultórica de un momento, un instante
cotidiano retomado con nostalgia el último tiempo: el abrazo de
bienvenida en el umbral de la casa. Una colisión -con cierto grado
de ternura- entre dos cuerpos; un encuentro que entre ambos
definen un espacio afectivo en forma de nido; ese espacio primitivo
que describió el arquitecto japonés Sou Fujimoto en su texto
Futuro Primitivo en el cual nos presenta la condición construida de
la comodidad, la intimidad, el cobijo, la protección y la cercanía.
Por medio de técnicas de diseño paramétrico y fabricación digital esta
pieza escultórica es un despliegue espacial orgánico y fluido definido
por barras de diferentes formatos las cuales se van tejiendo y uniendo
tridimensionalmente por medio de diferentes nodos impresos en 3D que
construyen un entramado o tejido capilar en forma de nido suspendido en el aire.

Hug-Me is the sculptural representation of a moment, an instant
daily life taken up with nostalgia in recent times: the embrace of welcome at the doorstep of the house. A collision - to some degree
of tenderness- between two bodies; a meeting between the two they define an affective space in the form of a nest; that primitive space
described by the Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto in his text Primitive Future in which he presents us with the constructed condition of
comfort, privacy, shelter, protection and closeness.
Through parametric design techniques and digital fabrication, this sculptural piece is an organic and fluid spatial display defined
by bars of different formats which are woven and joined three-dimensionally by means of different 3D printed nodes that
they build a framework or capillary tissue in the form of a nest suspended in the air.
